I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in a beautiful rural area. The warm welcome from the owners made me feel right at home. The main lodge, with its rich history, was amazing. The decor was quirky and filled with interesting things to look at. The hotel facilities were great, with fantastic communal areas that encouraged interaction with other guests. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The location was perfect, surrounded by fine nature and only a short distance from the nearest shop.

On the downside, there were a few issues. The cleanliness of the hotel could have been improved, especially in the bathrooms and kitchen area.

We were able to bring our furry friend along, as they are pet-friendly! The decoration in the hotel was also amazing, adding to the overall charm of the place.

The hotel has a rich history and a unique setup for camping. The tents and aero beds are comfortable. Outdoor seating allows for relaxation and connecting with fellow campers. The owner is a great host. The food served by two chefs is delicious.

From the moment I arrived, I felt utterly spoiled. the hotel's private architectural gem and its immaculate garden area offer an exclusive and peaceful retreat. My luxurious room, equipped with high-end amenities, made it seem like the hotel was catering only to me. the restaurant, with its exquisite cuisine and impeccable service, added to the level of luxury. I was indulging myself in every sense.

One minor issue for me was that I was not able to enjoy the outdoor dining area due to the weather conditions. the leisure/tv room with comfortable couches provided me with a cosy alternative.

The location of this hotel is ideal for nature lovers, with easy access to the West Highland Way and John Muir Way. The surroundings are beautiful and offer a peaceful retreat from the city. The rooms are comfortable, and the continental breakfast, including hot drinks, is a great way to start the day. The lounge is a cozy place to relax and socialize with other travelers. a fantastic option for those seeking a nature-filled getaway.

The lack of necessary amenities such as shower gel, shampoo, and an iron can be inconvenient for guests.
